Scope of Work
For the Millenium-Park Central project, FiberForce 750™ synthetic macrofibers were used in place of 6×6 W2.1 x W2.1 welded wire reinforcement on top of a composite metal deck. The Steel Deck Institute (SDI) allows synthetic macrofibers to completely replace temperature and shrinkage crack control steel at a dosage of 4 lb/yd3 . Baker Concrete and FullForce worked together to value engineer this project to help with time and safety and to offer a better value to the owner.
