Scope of Work
The homeowner had an existing Koi pond they wished to expand. Heavy gauge rebar and shotcrete were used to line the pond. In total, the shotcrete process took roughly two weeks with each pour consisting of 40-60 yd3 of concrete.
The homeowner wanted the inclusion of a synthetic macrofiber along with an integral waterproofing agent. Fiberforce 650™ was selected at a 3 lb/yd3 dosage rate. Even though the Koi pond was reinforced with rebar, the homeowner also wanted the FiberForce 650™, our synthetic macrofiber, for it’s high post-first crack residual strength properties.
