Project Spotlight

James Hardie Warehouse

Scope of Work

All exterior concrete was replaced and steel fiber was added to the mix for increased concrete durability. This included the driveways, roads, and loading docks surrounding the building. This project is unique because FiberForce T1-60 is in the mix for about 2,000 yd3 . After the first few pours, the steel fiber reinforcement was switched to FiberForce T5 to take advantage of the water soluble bags and simplify fiber dosing. This allowed for an increase in production from the ready mix plant and allowed them to keep up with the demands from the concrete contractor.

“This is the easiest slab I have ever finished with steel fiber in it. You don’t even know it is there!”
