Scope of Work
For the 5” slab, the initial design called for number #4 rebar at 24” spacing. Martin Marietta Materials reached out to the FullForce engineers to develop a macrofiber alternative. A submittal package for an alternative to the rebar included a 4 lb dosage rate of FiberForce750™, our macro synthetic fiber, was approved. The owner of Elk Ridge Builders and the concrete finishers were very impressed with the finishability of the macro fiber.
